PROJECT 01 -UK BASED -PROVIDING MEALS TO BRIDGE THE HUNGER GAP -ONGOING WEEKLY.
PROJECT 01 Is our first project because it's the first mode of immediate help we were able to start administering to the hungry in our immediate community, Project 01 was kicked off in 2019 and is an ongoing, permanent project, carried out weekly.

The point of this project is to bridge the hunger gap within our immediate community; we distribute dry meals to supported housing residents in 3 hostels within a 1.5 mile radius of our base, and to the street homeless, we distribute dry and cooked meals in several areas of Greater London, concentrating on the E8 (Kingsland high street) area, E17 Walthamstow Central/bus station, E4 Broadway in Highams park, and in central London’s Kingscross station, outside of Green park station and in & around Victoria station.

We took up Feeding the homeless in 2019, using surplus stock from our partnership with Grocery store Mama's Unity Foods. When we are running low on surplus stock- we have a minimum objective to feed at least 7 street homeless people per day giving them dry noodles and a container, and then it’s just for them to get the hot water.

We also have experience of bridging the hunger gap, when it comes to individuals who do have homes, but who, for a range of reasons are experiencing hardship in making ends meet.
